Hello Everyone,
There is really no easy way to put this, today I got a new job and upon accepting employment I can no longer be able to a part of the In The Loop / Coaster Crew. I have enjoyed my time here more then I can express in words here in this post, and I am sorry to see it come to an end, but my professional life and website-hobby life have become the same industry and my career aspirations come first.
Before the topic comes up, no I am not going to be saying where exactly my new job is with or what exactly my new role is, as I am hoping to keep who I was on the internet separated with who I am now in the workplace. I ask you all to please respect my privacy on this and don’t ask me about it. I will also ask you not to make posts guessing where it is, and for those of you that do know, I ask you not to tell.
I also want to make clear that this is not an “Erik Yates” situation, where I would leave the show and continue on with twelve other projects, my involvement with the A Walk In The Park Podcast & Blog are ending as well. I am in talks with a person most capable of taking over these two, but nothing is final yet, look for an announcement later this week.
I would hope Clint and the rest of the gang here at Coaster Crew & In The Loop continue on with the site & show as I step away. Even though I can no longer be a part of it, it is something I would still love to watch, listen to and be entertained by. In The Loop & Coaster Crew existed before my involvement and I hope it continues now that I am no longer part of it.
I have had a great time with A Walk In The Park/Coaster Crew/In The Loop and they have been a large part of my life for the past few years and as sad as I am to see my involvement with them come to an end, is how proud I am to see how successful they have become and how much people have enjoyed them. That said, I am also excited to start this new chapter in my professional life.
I have been able to meet a lot of great people through my involvement with ITL/AWITP, some of the top of my head would be: TL Brown, Mike Collins, Erik Yates, Brad Ruwe, Rose, Lou Mongello, John Turner, Coconut Wireless, Micheal The Rapids Nerd, Mark Goldhaber, Pete Owens, Doug Barnes, Mike Scopa, Coast, Martin, Ricky Brigante, Jim Hill, Nick Hutson, Brian & Jason, Jenkins, Kerry & Rose, Matt Grass.
And of course Clint & Will, two guys that I have known for about two years now and while they may have just started out as podcast partners, I now consider them to be two of my better friends and will miss working with them every week.
I encourage everyone to tune in this Monday night to In The Loop as it will be my final broadcast.
I will miss the show, miss the blog, miss the vidcast and miss all of you.
This is crazy. Dude this sucks. You don't know me but you will be missed. Good luck with everything. Wish you the best!! Take care. _________________ -Steve

Pat, you will be missed. Co-host seem to be dropping like flies, but thankfully this ending has a very positive end. Best of luck in the future and enjoy the sunshine state. _________________

Pat is living the dream of many a park enthusiast, and that is being in Orlando close to Disney and having a happy independent life. As tough as it is, livelyhood does come first. Even so, A Walk In The Park, and his co-host talent will sorely be missed.
I'm grateful to Pat for not only letting me contribute to his podcast, but encouraging me to start TheRapidsBlog, join Facebook, AND tune in to In The Loop. Yes, in essence, he helped me get started with quite a lot in the theme park world.
It's a safe bet that if he uses the same tenacity, gusto, heart, he'll make great strides in the private sector. My gut says there are good things ahead for him and I wish him well.
Pat, as a fan, contributor, and friend, I wish you all the best and happily keep in touch.

I Can co-host from time to time if you have nobody 1 week Clint. ITL must be cursed or something (I wonder why?[Karma]). _________________ Time Heals All Wounds, This One is taking way too Long.

This afternoon I got the call from Pat letting me know that he got the job and that he would be leaving the site. I was happy and sad. Very happy for Pat on getting a job down in Orlando and living the dream that most of us would love to do. Sad because he could not longer be a part of things he has poured his heart and soul in to for so long.
After getting the call I went back and listened to the first In the Loop Pat, Will, Erik, and I did. Its amazing to see what it has grown in to, and non of that would have been possible with out Pat.
Its funny because I think if he would have left a month ago I would have said "In the Loop will survive no problem", but after a few weeks with out him and seeing how the show suffered, we know it will never be the same.
Pat, you are a great friend, and I know we will remain good friends for years to come. We could never have done what we did in the last two years with out your help. So many memories, and good times, and most of all a great friendship formed with this podcast and that friendship will continue.
I think KDlvr said it best. A new era is on its way... Lets hope its a good one!
And Coasterboy, can we please focus on Pat, and not who is coming in after him. The man is not even out the door and you are already asking for his spot. _________________
Pat I wish you all the luck in your new job and your spirit will live on every time we hear I love me some man butt and of corse the douche yell, but all joking aside you will be missed and ITL will never be the same. _________________ My other ride is a Victory Hammer!

Hey pat, will you keep the AWITP feed live on iTunes, because I enjoy watching past shows from time to time.
Yes, all the old blogs & AWITP episodes will remain online. I am currentely talking to someone (who is more then capable of handling it) about taking over AWITP.
