First thanks to RapidsNerd for coming up with the name of the summer event for the Coaster Crew. I think all that are apart of the Coaster Crew would agree with the title!

We want to let everyone know we are working out the details to this event for June 6th and 7th at Free Style Music Park.

Now would Idiot Fest be one word or two?

IdiotFest or Idiot Fest?

We are working on the HRP weekend. Does everyone want to do both days at HRP or just one day and the other days doing Myrtal Beach stuff?

I would say probably do one day at HRP and the second day exploring what other fun stuff myrtle beach has to offer. While Hard Rock Park is the main reason I'm going, it isn't the biggest park and filling two days would be pretty tough.

I have only been to Myrtle once (and it was back when the pavillion was open). I know the highlight of my visit that time was the: Broadway At The Beach which is a shopping, clubbing, dining & entertainment area. Some other things I'd be interested in doing would be the small beachside Family Kingdom amusement park, hit the beach for a few hours or some of the Mini Golf Mrytle Beach is famous for.

Those that are thinking about coming on to Idiotfest, what are your guys thoughts?

I like the name since I can say myself I'm an idiot at times for dum things I do ie: the invisible phone dance on griffon for clint yesterday was a biggie with him sitting next to me.

To help explain why Pat needs to hang out at HRP:

LOL! Ok, you guys win on the name. Wink

Agreed on 1 day at HRP and 1 day exporing. Would enjoy mini-golf,
Broadway @ The Beach, even seeing where Pavilion used to be (holds hat over heart for OD Hopkins Hydro Surge). A waterpark or Nascar Cafe for a credit whore run would be great! For that matter, Ripley's Aquarium would be a winner too. Oh, and we must find a good wings place.

Hope the following info is helpful to everybody thinking of going.

Area stuff to do:

Planet Hollywood
Broadway at the Beach
Ripley's Aquarium
Coastal Federal Baseball Stadium
Dixie Stampede
Carolina Opry
Legends In Concert
Palace Theater
Medievel Times
Nascar Cafe and Theme Park
Hard Rock Cafe
Pavilion
Family Kingdom Amusement Park
Family Kingdom Water Park
Myrtle Waves
Hard Rock Theme Park
Thorny's

You must have no life to find all that info lol. Just to let everyone know we will be in beach season so it will not be cheap to stay near the beach. I think the best bet would be some where off the beach.

^^ By "no life" if you mean efficient multi-tasker and motivated employee despite slow times at work, then yes. Yes I am. Laughing

Between tasks today, I also plotted a Nashville weekender AND threw together quick logo for IdiotFEST (all one word.)

Not sure how to post pics in here yet, but when I learn, logo will be up for everyone's amusement. (i.e. pointing and laughing).

Medievel Times !?!

Like in "The Cable Guy"?

Oh you guys have got to go and sneak in the small vid cam. Tape the show and provide mocking commentary the whole while.

Then, put fried chicken skin on your face, doing your best Hannibal Lechter impression and refer to your waitress as "Wench."
